About Cassie

Hi, I'm Cassie Fernald and I am passionate about working with horses. I have always been aware that I had a special affinity toward all animals, but especially with horses, and knew what they were feeling and expressing, just in the way they interacted with me and by observing their interaction with other animals and humans.

As I became more aware of this gift I started to consciously connect with the animals and in so doing, I realized that they were sending me telepathic pictures. I refer to this process as Visualization. I found that I was connected very strongly to their emotions! From there on it became an easy transition for me to translate what I received into words.

I have worked with horses, cats, dogs, birds and wildlife (including insects). Some of my gifts include hands on and absentee healing, humor, and learning about the animal's connection and purpose for being in a person's life.

I am a Reiki II Practitioner and I incorporate LifeStreaming, Quantum Touch, Matrix Energetics and Intuitive Touch in my work with horses. I also Dowse for Geopathic Stress Lines in and around homes and barns.

Homeopathy & Flower Essences play an important role in our life at Dragonfly Farm. We always work with remedies first in any health or emotional situation, not only for ourselves, but for the animals in our lives as well.

I have an Palomino/American Saddlebred named Markka, a Belgian Draft horse named Dragonfly's Sara (who is my husband's horse), a Black Percheron named Dragonfly's Polgara, a Buckskin Quarter Horse named Dragonfly's SurPrize, and a gray & white cat named Gandalf the Gray and we all reside with my husband Alan, in Standish, Maine.
