This is Pretender's Dream. She is a Registered American Saddlebred and also a Palomino. She came into my life as a yearling and at the age of 27 years old, she was laid to rest. She had several seizures in her last 2 years. Markka did not recover well from the last one in the fall of 2009. It was decided to humanely euthanize her and bury her on our property.

I make a commitment to my horses and that is to keep them healthy and happy for the duration of their lives. I will not unload a horse to an auction or retirement home or sell them to someone else when they can no longer be ridden, etc. She was very special to me and will be truly missed.

I called her Markka after her Sire who was nicknamed Mark.
