Horses From the Past
In my younger years I was fortunate enough to be able to show many horses for their owners. I worked with my cousin, Sherrel who had a stable and did a lot of training and showing. We showed on the NHH&TA and the National Palomino circuits. Here are a few of the horses I was able to ride and show. I hope to post more horses as I come across their pictures and get them scanned.

Naborr Dero, Arabian Stallion, was owned by some ladies in VT. Dero was shown in halter and performance classes.

Kurlee, Palomino stallion, was owned by Sherrel Stephenson. Sherrel showed Kurlee extensively in Palomino classes and open performance classes. He was a horse in a million and I was thrilled to be able to show him in a class at a local NH show.

This is Eric, an Arabian gelding that was owned by Richard Riff. Eric was shown in Arabian performance classes and also open classes. His favorite class was Mounted Native Arabian Costume where he was able to gallop to his hearts content.

Freska, a Palomino/Appaloosa was owned by Kathie Currier and was shown in open classes.
